  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for browning beef)

Instructions

  • Brown the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and transfer the beef to the crockpot.
  • Prepare Soup Base: Add diced potatoes, chopped onion, and minced garlic to the crockpot. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  • Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.
  • Add Cream and Cheese: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese. Cover and cook until the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy.
