Description

This Crockpot Pierogi Casserole with Sausage is the ultimate comfort food. Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with smoky kielbasa and tender cheddar pierogies, it’s a hearty and easy-to-make meal perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends. Just toss everything in the slow cooker and let it do the work!


Ingredients

  • 3 packages (approx. 12 count each) Mrs. T’s Cheddar Pierogies (frozen)

  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 lb kielbasa, sliced

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Place the frozen pierogies in the bottom of a large slow cooker.

  • Add the sliced kielbasa over the pierogies.

  • Cut the cream cheese into chunks and place it on top of the kielbasa.

  • Pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle in the shredded cheddar cheese.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, stirring once or twice if possible.

  • Stir gently before serving to combine the creamy sauce with the pierogies and sausage.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 30 minutes of cooking.

  • Add sautéed onions or garlic for extra flavor.

  • Leftovers reheat well and make a great next-day meal.
