Description

This creamy and tangy Dill Pickle Dip is the perfect appetizer for any occasion. Combining smooth cream cheese, sour cream, and crunchy dill pickles, it’s a refreshing dip with a zesty kick. The addition of fresh dill and pickle juice takes this dip to the next level, making it a crowd-pleaser at parties or as a snack with chips or veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup chopped dill pickles
  • 1 Tablespoon pickle juice
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons chopped fresh dill (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Mix together until smooth and creamy.
  • Add the chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, garlic powder, and fresh dill (or dried dill) to the bowl. Stir to combine evenly.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more pickle juice or garlic powder for extra flavor if desired.
  • Chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Serve with crackers, chips, or fresh vegetables for dipping. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For a chunkier dip, leave some of the pickles in larger pieces.
  • You can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter version of this dip.
  • If you don’t have fresh dill, you can use dried dill, but fresh dill will provide a more vibrant flavor.
