Description

This Easy Cinnamon Roll Casserole is a quick and delicious breakfast or brunch dish made with refrigerated cinnamon rolls, eggs, milk, maple syrup, and a hint of cinnamon. It’s an indulgent treat that’s easy to prepare and perfect for a crowd. The warm, gooey cinnamon roll pieces baked with a sweet, custardy topping are sure to be a hit at any gathering.

  • 2 tubes refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray. Pour the melted butter into the baking dish.
  • Remove the cinnamon rolls from the package, reserving the frosting for later. Cut the cinnamon rolls into 3/4 inch pieces and place them in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, maple syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Pour the mixture evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces in the dish.
  • Bake the casserole for 25-35 minutes, or until it is light golden brown and puffed.
  • Let the casserole cool for 10-15 minutes, then drizzle the top with the frosting from the cinnamon roll package and serve.

Notes

  • Cinnamon Rolls: Any store-bought, canned, refrigerated cinnamon rolls (unbaked) will work.
  • Milk: You can use any kind of milk or cream, including non-dairy options.
  • Maple Syrup: Honey or brown sugar can be substituted for maple syrup.
