Description

A simple and hearty crockpot lasagna made with layers of frozen cheese ravioli, seasoned ground beef, crushed tomatoes, and gooey melted cheese. Perfect for a fuss-free, comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli

  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained

  • 3 cans (15 oz each) crushed tomatoes

  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt

  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.

  • In the crockpot, spread a thin layer of crushed tomatoes on the bottom.

  • Add a layer of frozen cheese ravioli, then half of the cooked ground beef, followed by a sprinkle of Italian seasoning and garlic salt.

  • Add a layer of mozzarella cheese and a bit of Parmesan cheese.

  • Repeat layers with remaining ravioli, beef, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, and mozzarella. Top with remaining crushed tomatoes and Parmesan cheese.

  • Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until ravioli is tender and cheese is melted and bubbly.

  • Let sit for 10 minutes before serving to set.

Notes

  • You can add chopped onions or garlic to the beef when browning for extra flavor.

  • Substitute ground turkey or Italian sausage if desired.

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes or hot sauce to the tomato sauce.
