Ingredients
Scale
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup Reese’s Pieces or chopped Reese’s cups
- Optional: Additional Reese’s for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, butter, and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Gently fold in the Reese’s Pieces or chopped Reese’s cups.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Slightly flatten the tops with your hand or a spoon.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers remain soft. Be careful not to overbake to keep the cookies gooey.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Add extra Reese’s on top while still warm if desired.
- Serve and enjoy these rich, creamy, and decadent cookies!
Notes
- These cookies are best when slightly underbaked for that gooey texture.
- Add more Reese’s on top for an extra indulgent touch.
- For a peanut butter boost, you can also add a bit of peanut butter to the dough for even more flavor.
