- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons sugar

- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add the warm water and vegetable oil to the dry ingredients.
- Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf.
- Place the dough in a greased loaf pan, cover with a towel, and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake the bread for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- Let the bread cool before slicing.
Notes
- You can substitute the vegetable oil with olive oil or melted butter for a richer flavor.
- If you prefer a slightly sweeter bread, you can increase the sugar to 3 tablespoons.
- Make sure the water is warm (not hot) to activate the yeast, about 110°F (43°C).
