Description

These Easy No-Bake Cookies are a chocolatey, quick, and no-fuss treat made with simple ingredients like cocoa, oats, and optional peanut butter. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without turning on the oven, these cookies come together in minutes and set perfectly for a delicious snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup peanut butter (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Mixture:
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar, cocoa powder, butter, and milk. Stir continuously until the mixture comes to a rolling boil. Let it boil for 1 minute without stirring.
  • Add Oats and Vanilla:
Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in the peanut butter (if using), vanilla extract, and quick-cooking oats until the mixture is well combined.
  • Drop onto Wax Paper:
Using a spoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax or parchment paper, shaping them into cookie rounds.
  • Cool and Set:
Allow the cookies to cool at room temperature until they are firm and set, about 20-30 minutes.

Notes

  • If using peanut butter, make sure it’s smooth for a creamier texture.
  • You can add mini chocolate chips, coconut flakes, or raisins for a fun twist on the traditional recipe.
  • The cookies will firm up as they cool, so it’s important to work quickly after mixing.
