Description

A simple yet flavorful side dish, this roasted cauliflower recipe brings out the natural sweetness of the cauliflower with a perfect balance of garlic, paprika, and a buttery finish. It’s the ideal side to complement any meal!


Ingredients

  • 1 medium cauliflower, sliced into small florets or ½-inch thick steaks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp ground paprika
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, paprika, and black pepper.
  • Add the cauliflower florets (or steaks) to the bowl and toss them to coat evenly with the oil and seasoning mixture.
  • Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and lightly browned.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy as a side dish!

Notes

  • For an extra kick, sprinkle some red pepper flakes before roasting.
  • You can add a squeeze of lemon juice or grated Parmesan cheese after roasting for added flavor.
  • This recipe can also be made with cauliflower steaks if you prefer larger pieces.
