Indulge in a refreshing and fruity sangria that combines red wine, brandy, and a medley of fresh fruits, perfect for gatherings or a cozy evening at home.


Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine (750 ml), preferably a fruity variety
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur (e.g., Triple Sec)
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1 apple, cored and sliced
  • 1 pear, cored and sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3–4 cloves
  • 2 cups sparkling water or soda, chilled
  • Ice, for serving

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher or bowl, combine the red wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and honey. Stir until the honey is fully dissolved.
  • Add the apple, pear, orange, and lemon slices, along with the pomegranate seeds.
  • Drop in the cinnamon stick and cloves. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Just before serving, add the chilled sparkling water or soda to the sangria. Stir gently.
  • Serve over ice in glasses, garnished with additional fruit slices if desired.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with other fruits like berries or stone fruits for added flavor and color.
