These French Onion Soup Burgers combine the savory, rich flavors of French onion soup with a juicy beef patty. Topped with melted Swiss cheese and served on a toasted bun, these burgers are the perfect comfort food for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Butter for toasting buns

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion soup mix, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and beef broth.
  • Form the mixture into 4 patties and cook on a grill or stovetop until desired doneness.
  • Top each patty with a slice of Swiss cheese and allow it to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns with butter.
  • Place each patty on a bun and serve hot.

Notes
