Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil or butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Ingredients: Peel and thinly slice the potatoes and onion.
- Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil or butter over medium heat.
- Cook the Potatoes and Onions: Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for about 5 minutes without stirring to allow them to start browning. Add the sliced onions and gently stir to combine.
