These rich and fudgy brownie cookies combine the best of both worlds, delivering a chewy texture with a burst of chocolatey goodness!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream the Butter and Sugars:
    • In a medium bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add Eggs and Vanilla:
    • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients:
    • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients:
    • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Fold in Chocolate Chips:
    • Gently fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Drop Dough on Baking Sheet:
    • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake:
    • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers are still soft.
  • Cool:
    • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgent treat, drizzle melted chocolate on top once cooled.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
