Description

These tender lobster tails are brushed with a rich, savory garlic butter and broiled to perfection. With a touch of fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon, this dish makes for a luxurious and delicious seafood feast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat the broiler.
  • Using kitchen shears, cut the top of the lobster shell down to the tail, being careful not to cut the meat.
  • Gently loosen the lobster meat from the shell, keeping it attached at the base. Brush the lobster meat with melted butter.
  • In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the lobster tails.
  • Broil the lobster tails for 8-10 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. The lobster should easily flake when pierced with a fork.
  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side for added freshness.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes or smoked paprika to the garlic butter mixture.
  • You can also baste the lobster tails with additional melted butter during broiling for an even richer taste.
  • For perfectly cooked lobster, make sure not to overcook the tails, as lobster meat becomes tough when overdone.
