Description

Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are a decadent and flavorful seafood dish, perfect for special occasions or a luxurious dinner at home. The tender lobster meat is brushed with a rich garlic butter sauce and broiled to perfection, creating a deliciously indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven broiler.
  • Use kitchen shears to cut the top of the lobster shell.
  • Gently pull the shell open and lift the lobster meat out, leaving the end of the tail attached.
  • Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet.
  • In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Stir in fresh lemon juice, salt, and pepper, then remove from heat.
  • Brush the lobster meat with the garlic butter mixture.
  • Broil the lobster tails for 10-12 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and fully cooked.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • You can use a basting brush to coat the lobster meat evenly with the garlic butter.
  • For a richer flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a slight kick.
  • Make sure not to overcook the lobster, as it can become tough.
