- 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1 lb potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- Chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the steak pieces and cook until browned on all sides, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and butter. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the steak back to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter.
- In a separate pot, boil the diced potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with milk.
- Serve the garlic butter steak bites over the mashed potatoes, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese to the mashed potatoes before serving.
- You can substitute the sirloin steak with ribeye or tenderloin for a more premium cut.
