Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into small cubes
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 russet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak cubes and garlic, and cook until steak is browned on all sides.
  • Season with paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • In a separate pot, boil the diced potatoes until fork-tender.
  • Drain the potatoes and mash them with milk and butter until smooth.
  • Serve the steak bites over the mashed potatoes, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add grated parmesan cheese to the mashed potatoes.
  • If you prefer a different cut of beef, ribeye or tenderloin would work well for this dish.
