- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 chicken breast, diced
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 cup carrots, diced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken breast and cook until no longer pink.
- Push the chicken to one side of the skillet and add the beaten eggs to the other side.
- Scramble the eggs and mix with the chicken.
- Add the minced garlic, peas, and carrots to the skillet. Cook until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the cooked rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions.
Notes
- You can use leftover rice for better texture in fried rice.
- For extra flavor, try adding a teaspoon of hoisin sauce or chili sauce for a spicy kick.
