Ingredients
Scale
-
For the Wings:
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon baking powder (optional, for extra crispiness)
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
For the Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce:
- ¼ cup butter (melted)
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- ¼ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
- ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and optional baking powder.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them with olive oil and the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
- Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Arrange the wings in a single layer.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
- Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce until well-coated.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
- For even crispier wings, you can bake them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet, allowing air to circulate around them.
- If you prefer a spicier version, you can add some red pepper flakes to the sauce.
- You can substitute the Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor.
