Description

These crispy, savory garlic Parmesan wings are a perfect combination of flavor and crunch. Coated in a rich garlic Parmesan sauce and seasoned to perfection, they make for a mouthwatering appetizer or a main dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Wings:

    • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon onion powder
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon pepper
    • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder (optional, for extra crispiness)
    • 2 pounds chicken wings
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Garlic Parmesan Wing Sauce:

    • ¼ cup butter (melted)
    • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
    • ¼ cup fresh parsley (chopped)
    • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (freshly grated)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and optional baking powder.
  • Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss them with olive oil and the seasoning mixture until evenly coated.
  • Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Arrange the wings in a single layer.
  • Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Once the wings are done, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the garlic Parmesan sauce until well-coated.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For even crispier wings, you can bake them on a wire rack set over a baking sheet, allowing air to circulate around them.
  • If you prefer a spicier version, you can add some red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • You can substitute the Parmesan with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor.
