Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until set but not browned.
- Let the cookies cool slightly, then roll them in additional powdered sugar.
