- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk, egg, and vanilla extract until just combined.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Transfer batter to a piping bag and pipe into the prepared donut pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup and powdered sugar to make the glaze.
- Dip each donut into the glaze and let set before serving.
