Ingredients

2.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon chili powder

3 tablespoons avocado oil

1 cup homemade Southern BBQ sauce
Instructions

In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder.

Rub the spice mixture evenly over the chicken thighs. Drizzle with avocado oil and toss to coat well.

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Grill chicken thighs for 6–8 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
