Description

Grilled Cheese Burgers combine the best of both worlds—juicy grilled beef patties topped with melty cheddar cheese, all sandwiched between buttery, toasted buns. A quick and satisfying meal that’s perfect for grilling season.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Instructions

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape into patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Grill patties for 5-7 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
  • Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of grilling.
  • Spread butter on the insides of the hamburger buns and grill for 1-2 minutes, until toasted.
  • Assemble burgers by placing patties on the buns and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can add other toppings such as lettuce, tomato, or pickles to customize your burger.
  • For a richer flavor, try using different types of cheese such as Swiss or American.
  • If you prefer a more even melt, cover the burgers with a lid during the last minute of grilling to help the cheese melt more effectively.
