Description

This Grilled Chicken Shawarma is a flavorful and aromatic dish featuring boneless chicken thighs marinated in a blend of olive oil, lemon juice, and spices like cumin, paprika, and turmeric. Perfectly grilled for a juicy and tender result, it’s ideal served with your favorite sides or in a wrap.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper.
  • Add chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them with the marinade. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Grill chicken thighs for 6-7 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
  • Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Serve grilled chicken shawarma with your favorite sides and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can serve the chicken shawarma with pita bread, hummus, or a simple cucumber and tomato salad.
