Description

A tropical treat that’s easy to make and bursting with flavor. These bars feature a graham cracker crust topped with sweetened condensed milk, coconut, chocolate chips, and walnuts for the perfect combination of chewy, crunchy, and sweet. A dessert everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups flaked coconut
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and ground cinnamon. Stir until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the flaked coconut, chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle this mixture over the sweetened condensed milk layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.
  • Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, you can add crushed pineapple to the coconut mixture for a more tropical flavor.
  • These bars are best when cooled completely, as the condensed milk needs to set for the bars to hold together.
  • You can substitute almonds or pecans for walnuts if preferred.
