Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups flaked coconut
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, melted butter, and ground cinnamon. Stir until well combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the graham cracker crust.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flaked coconut, chocolate chips, and chopped walnuts. Sprinkle this mixture over the sweetened condensed milk layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- For a fun twist, you can add crushed pineapple to the coconut mixture for a more tropical flavor.
- These bars are best when cooled completely, as the condensed milk needs to set for the bars to hold together.
- You can substitute almonds or pecans for walnuts if preferred.
