- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
For the Sauce: - 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce or mirin
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter is melted, add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the steak pieces to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, turning to brown on all sides.
- If desired, add sesame oil for extra flavor, and continue cooking until the steak reaches your preferred level of doneness.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, teriyaki sauce (or mirin), and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the steak and stir to coat. Let it simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional pepper or sesame seeds if desired.
