Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound prepared pizza dough
- 3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
- ¾ cup water (or more as needed)
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (for surface)
- ½ cup creamy Caesar dressing
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded Italian cheeses (such as mozzarella and provolone), divided
- ¾ cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 large egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and allow to cool slightly before shredding.
- Roll out the prepared pizza dough on a lightly floured surface. Stretch it into a large rectangle.
- Spread the creamy Caesar dressing evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Layer the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, green onions, ½ cup of the shredded Italian cheese, and ½ cup of Parmesan cheese on top of the Caesar dressing.
- Carefully fold the sides of the dough over the filling, and then roll it up like a log or burrito. Pinch the seams to seal.
- Place the rolled chicken bake seam-side down on a greased baking sheet. Brush the top with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- If you prefer a crispy bottom, place the chicken bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- You can substitute the Caesar dressing with ranch or your favorite creamy dressing if desired.
- For extra flavor, add extra seasonings like Italian herbs or red pepper flakes.
