Description

These homemade Peanut Butter Cup Cookies are a delightful combination of rich, creamy peanut butter and decadent chocolate. With a mini peanut butter cup pressed into the center, each cookie is a perfect balance of sweetness and indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 24 mini peanut butter cups, unwrapped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Roll the dough into 24 equal-sized balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and immediately press a mini peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie.
  • Return the cookies to the oven and bake for an additional 2-3 minutes until the peanut butter cups are softened.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

 

  • These cookies can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
  • If you prefer a stronger chocolate flavor, you can use dark chocolate mini peanut butter cups.
  • You can also chill the dough before baking if you want a firmer texture.
