Description

A decadent dessert that combines the rich, nutty flavors of pecan pie with the comforting texture of a cobbler. Warm, gooey, and perfect for any occasion, especially with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 cup light corn syrup

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Stir in melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk until well combined.
  • Fold in pecans and pour mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, mix corn syrup and 1/3 cup sugar. Pour over the batter.
  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set in the center.
  • Serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Notes

  • You can substitute dark corn syrup for a richer flavor.
  • For a twist, add a handful of chocolate chips to the batter.
  • Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat.
