Instructions

  • Cook the Chicken:

    • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

    • Add the chicken thighs or breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

  • Prepare the Honey Garlic Sauce:

    • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    • Stir in soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to reduce slightly.

  • Combine Chicken and Sauce:

    • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it in the sauce, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to soak up the flavors.

  • Garnish and Serve:

    • Sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped green onions over the chicken before serving.

    • Serve the honey garlic chicken with rice, vegetables, or your favorite side dishes.
