Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or breasts

  • 1/4 cup Honey

  • 45 Garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon Ginger (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (optional, for thickening)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Green onions (optional, for garnish)


Instructions

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the chicken thighs or breasts and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side until the chicken is cooked through and browned.

  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and optional ginger. Stir well and bring the mixture to a simmer.

  • If using cornstarch, mix a teaspoon with a bit of water to create a slurry, and then add it to the sauce to thicken. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce. Let it cook for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the chicken is fully coated.

  • Garnish with green onions if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you prefer a thicker sauce, use cornstarch to thicken it.

  • You can substitute the chicken thighs for breasts or any cut of chicken you prefer.
