Description

These Honey Garlic Chicken Wings are a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and sticky goodness. Coated in a delicious honey-garlic glaze, these wings are baked to crispy perfection, making them an irresistible treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, olive oil, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade, making sure they are evenly coated. Let them marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour (or overnight for more flavor).
  • Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until the wings are crispy and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving plate.
  • Drizzle any remaining sauce from the baking sheet over the wings and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds (optional).
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispy wings, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
  • You can also make these wings on the grill for a smoky flavor.
