This Honey Pineapple Salmon is a delightful and refreshing dish that combines the sweet flavors of honey and pineapple with the savory richness of salmon. A perfect balance of flavors, it’s quick to prepare and bakes beautifully!


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sliced pineapple for garnish

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, pineapple juice, garlic, and ginger.
  • Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the honey pineapple mixture over them.
  • Marinate the salmon for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Bake the salmon for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked through.
  • Garnish with sliced pineapple before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking to caramelize the honey mixture on top.
  • You can also add a sprinkle of sesame seeds or chopped green onions for garnish.
  • Serve with steamed rice or vegetables for a complete meal.
