These Italian Breaded Chicken Cutlets are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Coated in a flavorful mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan, and seasonings, then pan-fried to perfection and finished in the oven, they make a delicious meal for any occasion. Serve them with a side of pasta, salad, or on a sandwich!

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook the chicken breasts in the skillet for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  • Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
