Description

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for icing)
  • Colored sprinkles (for decoration)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, and almond extract, mixing well.
  • Gradually add flour and baking powder, alternating with milk until a dough forms.
  • Roll dough into small balls and place on the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set but not browned.
  • For icing, mix powdered sugar with a little water until smooth. Dip the cookies and decorate with sprinkles.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, let the dough chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before baking.
