Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • Colorful sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients.
  • Roll dough into small balls and place on baking sheets. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden. Let cool.
  • Mix powdered sugar and milk to form a glaze. Drizzle over cooled cookies and garnish with sprinkles.

Notes

Ensure cookies are completely cooled before glazing for best results.
