- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 pound sliced salami
- 1/2 pound sliced pepperoni
- 1/2 pound sliced ham
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dough:
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 10×14 inches.
- Layer Fillings:
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Evenly layer the salami, pepperoni, and ham over the sauce.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the meats.
- Season with dried oregano, dried basil, and garlic powder.
- Roll and Seal:
- Starting from one of the long edges, carefully roll the dough into a tight log.
- Pinch the seams and ends to seal the stromboli completely.
- Apply Egg Wash:
- Transfer the stromboli to the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
- Brush the top and sides with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the stromboli is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Serve:
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes before slicing.
- Slice the stromboli into 1-inch pieces and serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
