Easy to customize with your favorite flavors and spirits, these vibrant little shots are perfect for gatherings, celebrations, and holidays. Make them ahead for a cool, jiggly, crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small (4-serving) box flavored gelatin (regular or sugar-free)

  • 1 cup boiling water

  • 1/2 cup cold water

  • 1/2 cup vodka (for non-alcoholic version, use an additional 1/2 cup cold water)

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, empty the gelatin powder.

  • Pour in 1 cup of boiling water and whisk for about 2 minutes, or until the gelatin is fully dissolved.

  • Add 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka. Stir until combined.

  • Pour the mixture into small plastic or silicone shot cups.

  • Refrigerate for 2–4 hours or until fully set.

  • Serve cold. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Use flavored vodka to enhance or complement the Jello flavor.

  • Can be made 2–3 days in advance.

  • To easily unmold from silicone molds, lightly spray them with non-stick spray before filling.

  • Use different colors and arrange in layers for festive themes. Let each layer set before adding the next.
