3 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves

Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter to the skillet.

Season the scallops with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Once the butter is melted and hot, add the scallops to the skillet. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir to combine.

Return the scallops to the skillet, tossing them in the lemon butter sauce.
