- 2 (8 ounce) packages refrigerated crescent roll dough, divided
- 2 lemons, zested and juiced, divided
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spray a baking dish with cooking spray.
- Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, mix softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup white sugar, butter, and the zest and juice from one lemon until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll dough.
- Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough and layer it over the cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining 3 tablespoons of sugar and the zest of the second lemon on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let the bars cool before slicing into squares and serving.

- For a more intense lemon flavor, you can add extra lemon zest or juice to the cream cheese mixture.
