These soft, baked doughnuts are filled with tangy lemon curd and dusted with powdered sugar. A perfect treat for those who love a citrusy burst of flavor in every bite!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Lemon curd for filling
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a doughnut pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the milk, vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and lemon zest.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into a piping bag and pipe into the greased doughnut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the doughnuts spring back when touched.
  • Allow the doughnuts to cool completely before filling with lemon curd.
  • Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the lemon curd with a homemade or store-bought version.
