Description

This light and refreshing lemon cake is bursting with citrus flavor, topped with a sweet and tangy lemon glaze, making it the perfect dessert for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon zest

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  • In a bowl, mix together the cake mix, lemon juice, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • While the cake cools, whisk together the powdered sugar and lemon zest to create a glaze.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the cooled cake before serving.
