Description

This Lemon Vinaigrette Salad Dressing is a tangy, citrus-packed dressing that adds a fresh and vibrant flavor to your salads. It’s easy to make, light, and perfect for any greens, grains, or vegetable salads.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and honey (if using).
  • Slowly pour in the olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the mixture.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, and whisk in the minced garlic and oregano (if desired).
  • Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  • Serve immediately over your favorite salad or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Notes

  • If you prefer a sweeter dressing, you can add more honey to balance the tartness of the lemon juice.
  • For a creamier version, consider adding a teaspoon of Dijon mustard or a bit of Greek yogurt.
