Ingredients

Scale
  • For the Crust:
    • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • For the Filling:
    • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, well-drained
  • For the Topping:
    • 1 container (8 ounces) whipped topping, thawed
    • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly mixed. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
  • Make the Filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and softened butter until smooth and creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until fully combined. Fold in the drained crushed pineapple until evenly distributed.
  • Assemble the Dessert: Spread the filling evenly over the prepared crust. Top with whipped topping, spreading it into an even layer.
  • Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours, or until set. Garnish with additional graham cracker crumbs before serving, if desired.

Notes

  • Make sure to drain the pineapple thoroughly to avoid excess liquid in the filling.
  • You can add a little extra graham cracker crumbs as a garnish for added texture and flavor.
