- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 cup of your favorite marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.
- Dip each chicken breast in the melted butter, then coat with the cheese and bread crumb mixture.
- Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Return to oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the bread crumb mixture.
- If you prefer, you can make your own marinara sauce or use store-bought for convenience.
- Serve with pasta or a side salad for a complete meal.
