Description

A restaurant-inspired chicken dish featuring crispy Parmesan and breadcrumb-coated chicken breasts, topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. An easy and delicious weeknight dinner the whole family will love!


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup of your favorite marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs.
  • Dip each chicken breast in the melted butter, then coat with the cheese and bread crumb mixture.
  • Place chicken in a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  • Return to oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of garlic powder or Italian seasoning to the bread crumb mixture.
  • If you prefer, you can make your own marinara sauce or use store-bought for convenience.
  • Serve with pasta or a side salad for a complete meal.
