Description

Crispy, cheesy perfection! This Parmesan crusted chicken brings restaurant-quality flavors right to your kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a shallow dish, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper.
  • In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and milk.
  • Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, shaking off the excess. Dip into the egg mixture, then coat with the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
  • Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider adding a tablespoon of grated Parmesan to the breadcrumb mixture. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal!
