- 1 cup mashed bananas (about 2–3 ripe bananas)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, sour cream, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas; mix until combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients, then fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Notes
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
