Description

A comforting and hearty dish that combines classic meatloaf with creamy macaroni and cheese. This casserole is a fun twist on two favorite comfort foods!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 box macaroni and cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, ketchup, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Press the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Prepare macaroni and cheese according to package instructions, then spread it on top of the meatloaf mixture.
  • Bake for 30 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing shredded cheese into the macaroni before spreading it on top.
  • Pair with a side salad or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
