  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Carrots:
    • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the sliced carrots and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until tender but still crisp.
    • Drain the carrots and set aside.
  • Make the Maple Glaze:
    • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
    • Stir in the maple syrup, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the mixture starts to bubble and thicken slightly.
  • Toss and Serve:
    • Add the cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly with the maple glaze.
    • Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the carrots are heated through and well-glazed.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish and Enjoy:
    • Transfer the carrots to a serving dish and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
