Description

This Maple Salmon is a perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors, with a maple syrup marinade that enhances the natural richness of the salmon. Baked to perfection, it’s an easy and delicious dish that’s ready in less than an hour, making it ideal for a quick weeknight dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 pound salmon

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, soy sauce, minced garlic, garlic salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow glass baking dish and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes, turning the salmon halfway through.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the baking dish with the salmon into the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Serve the maple salmon hot, drizzled with any remaining sauce from the dish.

Notes

  • For a caramelized glaze, you can broil the salmon for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
  • Feel free to serve this dish with a side of roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
  • If you prefer a more intense maple flavor, marinate the salmon for up to 1 hour.
